Rodrigo Costas and Robert Tijssen have become research partners in InSySPo, an international research program hosted by Campinas University, one of Brazil's top research-intensive universities.
InSySPo presents a high-profile platform for cutting-edge joint research with researchers in Brazil and an opportunity for further cooperation within Latin America and other countries of the Global South.
InSySPo’s thematic scope interconnects Innovation to Systems and Policy. Its research program will run from 2021 till 2024 and will cover a wide range of topics, research methodologies and interdisciplinary approaches to study innovation systems – either national, regional, and sectoral – within the context of innovation policies and economic development strategies.
InSySPo’s program consists of four Research Trajectories. CWTS contributes to the RT on ‘Big Data for Assessing Innovation Processes and Research & Innovation Policy’, with Rodrigo featuring as a Co-Principal Investigator and Robert as an Associated Investigator.
Our collaboration with InSySPo will be embedded in CWTS’s Science, Technology and Innovation Studies (STIS) research group.
