Evan de Gelder, BSc

Evan de Gelder is research assistant to Inge van der Weijden in the working group Career Policy & Paths in Science (CPPS) at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) of Leiden University.

He holds a cum laude honours bachelor in public administration and organization (2016), partly completed at the University of East Anglia (Norwich). Evan de Gelder conducts qualitative research on career paths of young scientists and their job perspectives outside academia in order to draw recommendations for young scientists, universities and companies.

Next to his research work Evan is chairman of the board at NSA, the largest Christian student association in Amsterdam (230 members).
