CWTS researchers Rodrigo Costas Comesana and Alfredo Yegros Yegros are part of the team behind this study published by Nature on October 4th.
In the latest issue of Nature appears the comment entitled ‘Scientists have most impact when they're free to move’, an analysis measuring the global movements of researchers and reflecting on the potential adverse consequences that isolationist policies may have on the advance of science.
This research is the result of a joint effort of an international team in which CWTS played an important role. Besides Rodrigo and Alfredo, two visiting professors at CWTS, Cassidy Sugimoto (Indiana University Bloomington) and Vincent Larivière (Université de Montréal) are also part of this team, together with Dakota S. Murray (Indiana University Bloomington) and Nicolas Robinson Garcia (Georgia Institute of Technology).
This new publication in Nature has been covered by Science Magazine, The Economist , Times Higher Education and La Presse, among others.
