CWTS will host the 23rd edition of the STI-ENID conference at the Stadsgehoorzaal in downtown Leiden. The 2022 edition was held in Granada, Spain.
This annual conference is traditionally held every four years in Leiden. The 2023 edition focuses on improving scholarly evaluation practices in the light of cultural change. Submissions should relate to contributing to more responsible, sustainable and transparent methods to assess academic work.
The STI-ENID conference has a history of around 30 years with a focus on scientometric research in the context of science policy and research management. In the past decade the focus has been broadened including more qualitative studies. Before the end of this year (2022), we will launch the website with more detailed information and facilities to submit and register. For obvious reasons, we will try to facilitate both physical and online attendance in an optimal way.
